I’m a Principal Enterprise Architect at Sony Interactive Entertainment where I manage global IT strategies and relationships, create and lead global IT projects and do everything I can to help passionate developers ship the best video games in the world.
I was a charter member of the USENIX Infrastructure Mafia, and I’ve been doing Infrastructure as Code since 1995.
I’ve done everything from secure software development for government agencies and syadmin automation to enterprise, security and network architectures. My passion is using automation to enable smart people to spend time on hard problems instead of dealing with “toil”.
I believe in “scale or die”, self-healing infrastructure and honesty in monitoring.
